Seizing private property, financing corporate interests, arresting people in clear violations of their Constitutional rights....I could go on but I see no reason to.

Rudy is a neocon through and through.Randyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09392615656492333710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9666124.post-77482225379898169452007-06-06T14:52:00.000-04:002007-06-06T14:52:00.000-04:00Rudy is the closest we are EVER going to get to an...Rudy is the closest we are EVER going to get to an actual libertarian as President of the US in our lifetimes.

Does anyone here honestly believe that we could "sneak" someone more libertarian past the hopelessly unlibertarian American voters?

Rudy scores 60/60 on the ontheissues.com site and is the "most" libertarian save Ron Paul at 70/70 according to their detailed analysis of him on the issues.

C'mon y'all!! We are NEVER going to do any better than 60/60. Let's back Rudy! He's not a perfect libertarian. But dammit. I'm not even sure I'd want a perfect libertarian as President of the US.

Better a Moderate libertarian.Eric Donderohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02763399145451696076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9666124.post-51643690729890434842007-05-30T20:16:00.000-04:002007-05-30T20:16:00.000-04:00Rudy Giuliani increased marijuana arrests in New Y...Rudy Giuliani increased marijuana arrests in New York City from under 6,000 annually when he became Mayor in 1993 to over 62,000 in 2001 alone, the last year he held office. He is an authoritarian dictator who knows how to balance the books. A fiscal conservative could justify supporting Giuliani's balanced books approach but no libertarian could endorse the uber-fascist Rudolph. Ron Paul is the only principled Republican in the race, period.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9666124.post-30792983800463402052007-05-30T18:48:00.000-04:002007-05-30T18:48:00.000-04:00The answer, of course, is "NO!"The answer, of course, is "NO!"DonSchenckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10585538170692296011noreply@blogger.com
