2012 GOP Presidential Poll

As the nation enters the Obama-Pelosi-Reid years, a small group of political activists has its eyes on the next presidential election cycle. Since the campaign for 2012 begins today, I am interested in your views on will win the Republican presidential nomination four years from now.

This little poll is obviously not scientific (those types of polls won't be published for at least several days), but it will give a snapshot of the views of readers of this blog (and others who may find it on other web sites) about what to expect in 2012.

Comments welcome, of course.

  1. Bobby Jindal. Fred Thompson if he went for it. Eric Cantor. Steve Pence. SC Gov - whatshisname - and Sarah Palin. Plenty of bench.

  2. I would have added Mark Sanford's name -- Gov. whatshisname -- and others, but the widget I used allowed only 5 entries.

There will be time to survey the others. Four more years of time.

  3. I believe you should use the word "Whom" instead of "Who" in the title of the poll.

  4. I love how the best two are the top two here. Romney/Jindal is the ticket that will Bring America Back!

  5. Romney/Jindal I think would be fairly great. Especially considering that you've got two conservative economists. But is there a possibility of General David Petraeus being involved in political matters. Regardless of party affiliation, I think Romney could possibly consider General Petraeus, given that the man has to deal with plenty of tough military and diplomatic decisions at this point, and that's a good compliment to Romney's existing experience in economics.
