Between 65 and 75 local GOP activists attended the breakfast meeting, including Delegate Rob Bell and Albemarle County Supervisor Ken Boyd. Bolling gave the gathering an election-year pep talk, telling them that despite recent losses, it is permissible to be disappointed but not to be discouraged.
Without mentioning him by name, Bolling took a swipe at his opponent for the Republican nomination, Patrick Muldoon, by saying that this is not the time for division and that the party should be unified in its efforts to win back the Governor's mansion and maintain its majority in the House of Delegates.
